"We are not here to replace immigration lawyers. We are here to make sure that by the time you sit down with one, you already know which two or three pathways are worth the conversation."

The origin story

How a decade of building for data-heavy industries became VISA AI

2014

First exposure to immigration complexity

Rashedul began advising friends and family applying abroad — and watched smart people lose months to fragmented PDFs, outdated forum threads, and consultant pitches that all pointed back to the same paid product.

2016 — 2023

A decade building data-heavy products at Raise IT Solutions

As CEO of Raise IT Solutions, he led teams shipping automation, AI, and integration platforms for sectors where the cost of a wrong number is real. That discipline — primary sources, deterministic engines, human sign-off — became the spine of how VISA AI would later be built.

2024

The thesis: rules first, AI second

After watching generic chatbots confidently invent salary thresholds and points formulas, the architecture for VISA AI was set: a deterministic rules engine sourced from 24 government authorities, with AI used only to explain results and surface leverage — never to fabricate eligibility.

2025 — today

VISA AI in production

Today the platform scores fit across 110+ visa and PR pathways, runs monthly review against every primary source, and ships corrections within 72 hours of any reader-reported error.

Operating principles

The four rules behind every decision at VISA AI

Primary sources, always

No rule lives in our engine that does not trace back to an official immigration authority we publicly link to. No blogs. No aggregators. No "the AI said so."

Rules first, AI second

A deterministic engine decides eligibility. AI translates the result into plain English and surfaces the next leverage point. It cannot turn a fail into a pass.

Honest about limits

Eligibility is not approval. VISA AI exists to compress weeks of research into minutes — not to replace the judgement of a regulated immigration professional.

Build for the worst day

Every screen is designed for the applicant who is anxious, time-poor, and reading on a phone at midnight. If a sentence does not survive that reader, it does not ship.

Founder's notes

Three things I will not change my mind on

Short essays on the editorial and engineering trade-offs that define this product.

No. 01

Why we will never publish a "visa success score"

Approval is a human decision made by officers with discretion, refusal histories we cannot see, and document quality we cannot audit. Any number that implies otherwise is marketing, not engineering. We score eligibility — and we say so on every result.

No. 02

The job of AI in a YMYL product

In our category, AI is a phenomenal explainer and a terrible decider. Our rules engine decides; the model translates the outcome into language a first-time applicant can act on, and points at the highest-leverage gap. That split is the entire product.

No. 03

Why we publish corrections in the page footer

Trust is built one fix at a time, in public. When we get a rule wrong, we change it, we say what we changed, and we date it. That ledger matters more than any badge.

What he owns at VISA AI

  • Final sign-off on the eligibility scoring methodology and any structural changes.
  • Editorial direction across all country and visa-type guides.
  • Partnership decisions (consultancies, language test providers, universities).
  • The "honest about limits" principle — never claim we replace a regulated professional.
